Haiti Missions 2014

There are very few things in life that will change your life more than a mission trip to a foreign field.  A mission trip takes you out of your comfort zone and causes you to see all the blessings that you have been given.  It causes you to realize the poverty of other nations as well as the spiritual darkness that they are locked in.  All in all, a mission trip stirs within you a burden for people by moving you to want to reach out beyond yourself.

Seventeen people from Cornerstone will be leaving this Thursday for a mission trip to Haiti.  We will be ministering again with Brother Fred Wall.  Although this is our fourth trip to Haiti, our hearts seem to be even more impacted each time we return.  We have developed a deep love for Brother Wall, the Haitian people, and their need for the gospel.  The team will be building the roof for Brother Wall’s Bible School, holding an extensive medical clinic, running electrical, fixing his truck, building cabinets, teaching, preaching, and prayerfully impacting people for Jesus Christ.

Please pray for us! We need your prayers.  Please pray that we will be able to accomplish all the work; that the medical clinic will meet physical needs, so that the gospel can be preached to meet their spiritual need.  Also, please pray for safety and protection from harm, sickness, and problems that will hinder the work.  Pray that we will have no problems getting through customs.  Finally, please pray for Pastor Sean and Pastor Aaron as they shoulder the load while we are away.   We are looking forward to seeing the Lord accomplish a great work.  Thank you for praying for us!
