"Highways and Hedges" is a vital part of the outreach ministry of Cornerstone Baptist Church! CBC has been a thriving part of the Swartz Creek community and has strived to serve the spiritual needs for Swartz Creek, Flint, and the surrounding areas for over twenty-six years.
Our Mission
Pastor Aaron Whitman is the Outreach Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church. He has been a part of the pastoral staff for over ten years.
Bridging the distance between a lost world and our Lord Jesus Christ has been a heartfelt desire he has shared through the bus ministry for over twenty years!
Caring Workers
Your child's safety is of the utmost importance to Cornerstone Baptist Church. We want them to have a safe, exciting, and fun filled experience to and from church. Each of our buses are staffed with very caring workers. Each worker has been trained to work with children and a background check has been conducted to ensure the safety of our young riders.
When the bus arrives at your home, a worker will come get your child from your home and walk with him/her to the bus.
Exciting Worship Services
Once your child arrives at Cornerstone Baptist Church, he/she will enjoy an exciting Sunday School Class and Worship Service that will be specifically geared for his/her age.
When services are done, the worker will get your child from class and bring him/her back to the bus to have a snack during the afternoon ride back home. Your child will then be delivered safely back to your care.
Activities
"Highways and Hedges" ministry goes farther than just Sunday afternoons!
During our Wednesday everning services, AWANA provides spiritual growth for our riders Kindergarten through 6th grade. Our LAMPS youth group encourages teens with an uplifting song service and a challenging message.
Cornerstone Baptist Church offers many other opportunities for our riders through the various activities planned during the year.
